What a Fantastic forum!
I Live in BC, canada and have searched a few forum but this one I Love!
It has been coming up on 3 Years that I had Tanks
I had a 10 G Fresh water Puffer - 33 G Fresh planted and a 29 G Salt water Bio Cube... Due to divorce had to shut everything down...
BUT Im back at it...
I have a 7.7 Fresh shrimp tank and I always kept my 29 G Bi cube!!!
My Bio cube I started up in the first few days of Feb...
So My big load is 1 conch ~ 2 Astrea ~ 5 Ceriths
I found a tiny little brittle star fish ( like the size of a Toonie or a silver dollar )
I am thrilled to be back at it....
I love the research ~ Cause I forgot almost everything!
The new boyfriend is so trying to.... Ummm Understand ??? and quit asking "Whatchya looking at?" when I stare at my rocks for hrs ~ LoL
I did buy the Tunze 9002 ( Had to get the magnet off) and I got an InTank Media basket... They still just dont both fit that nicly ~ Im gonna have to shave a bit more out of the bio Cube..
I have the standard lights still - only because I bought brand new bulbs But I am totally reserching LED Lights! ( Im favouring the Hydra ~ So much still to understand about lighting and so I dont over load my biocube
I am trying to get the Tunze Mini ATO from My LFS ( gotta support some locals ) I also think that might be a good way to add calcium as well...
My tank pars are
Salt - 1.025
Temp - 78.4 ~ 79.1
Calcium - 480 ~ 500 (Still new tank)
PH - Now this has gone from 7.7 up to 8.1 ( I gotta read more here )
Nitrite - 0.0
Nitrate - 0.0
Amonia - I,ve seen it 0.1 and now 0.0 - (I never really had a huge spike)
Phospate - it was high .25 and has been 0.0 for the last 2 weeks
kH Hardness - 125 - 143
I need to get a few more test from what I have seen....
I think that is it for now...
