After weeks of hiding I finally got a glimpse of my radiant wrasse this morning. It is one of the most beautiful fish, but I've only seen it twice...once at two in the morning while scoping for nuisance hitchhikers and this morning when I woke up. I thought it was dead up until today. It's still my favorite fish, just wish he wasn't so shy. I think my tangs stress it a little, they don't attack it but they love to invade a new fish's personal space bubble.

Great!! My male Rhomboid pulls the disappearing act once in awhile also. It is always such a relief when he decides to grace me with his presence again.

When I got my Melanarus, it hid for a week

I got a melanarus at the same time as the radiant and the melanarus was out within a half hour picking things off rocks and went right into the crowd at feeding time like he's been there forever. The melanarus is what I'd consider medium sized (3-3.5 inch and thick) though, so maybe not as easily intimidated. It amazes me how long these fish can hide and survive....this radiant has been hiding for almost three weeks, I think he's been coming out late at night and hasn't figured out my lighting schedule though. He's hiding again now.

Look who finally decided to join the group, took forever for him to get on the proper schedule.

How did you do it? Mine and my leopard have been hiding for a day and a half now after I put them in. Any suggestions
