Finally set up my quarantine tank (:

I recently won a giveaway by @noopsyche for the K7 Pro ii and I love it! It’s got a fairly easy setup and user interface on the controller. I am using it on a 10gallon quarantine tank/frag tank that I just started today. I am eager to see how it performs as I start my coral collection!

@noopsyche made this frag tank a dream come true with their k7 pro ii giveaway. It started as a bit of a DIY project as I removed the rim from a simple 10gal tank from petsmart and used some egg crate to make a frag rack for some beautiful zoanthids from @joshuawarne. I am really excited to watch these babies grow

Today is the big day! I have finally moved my zoas into my display tank, starting them at the bottom to acclimate them to my lighting. No hitchhikers were found after a 2 week quarantine. Thanks @Joshua Warne for a great product.

I am trying something new here, and I found the idea somewhere here on R2R. I’ve added a little hamster ball full of chaeto to my QT tank, and I’ve been dosing pods and phyto from @AlgaeBarn and bacteria for over a week in preparation for a shipment from @The Aquatic Arsenal
I’m super excited about the shipment and it should be here tomorrow! I will follow up to review the performance of the K7 Pro II I won from @noopsyche giveaway, as well as the corals from The Aquatic Arsenal! Any advice or recommendations are always appreciated haha don’t make fun of my janky budget QT.

I received extremely well packaged products from both @The Aquatic Arsenal and @WWC

@The Aquatic Arsenal thanks for the freebie zoanthid! Not really sure what it is. It was purple with a red skirt and very pretty. All of the corals you sent except for the sun corals were open within an hour of being placed in my tank! And thank you for the cute little stocking stuffer!

@WWC I see why they call you guys world wide! Incredibly clean frag plugs, and my zoa was open before I even removed it from the bag, just while it was acclimating! The green birds nest fluffed up nicely, but the blue one didn’t seem as happy. Hopefully it will acclimate to my tank by tomorrow.
