Finally stabilized my nitrates and phosphates

I seem to have reached a nice equilibrium with nitrates and phosphates. I have a heavy enough fish bio load to feed somewhere near 6-8 cubes of frozen per day and maintain my NO3 at 10ppm ( NYOS kit never again ), and phosphate at .03 as measured by my Hanna ULR phosphorous meter.

I used to have to dose one or the other, but I’ve been at this level for about 2 months now of the 8 months that my tank has been running. I’m quite happy with these levels and can only hope to maintain them! The display is algae free and chaeto grows in the large 12x24 fuge.
 
That is fantastic! It should be interesting to watch how the tank develops moving forward.

(And for all the people struggling to get here, at least we know it's possible. ) :)
 
Between the monster skimmer and this fuge, that’s really all I have exporting nutrients. Well, and my mesh filter socks, but I’m not great about changing them because they are noisy when clean.

I feed only frozen. I think that helps. Pellets tend to be super concentrated with everything.
