Hey everyone!

I started my first saltwater tank about a month ago. My friend who got me into the hobby finally convinced me to start my own (he's been in the hobby for 5+ years now). He actually gifted me his old WaterBox Cube 10 since he upgraded to the Cube 20! I've been meaning to make a post here but haven't had the time yet.

I originally stocked it with two damsel fishes but traded them in for two clownfishes who seems to be loving their new tank! One loves to ride the current around in circle and hang out close to the return pump :D. My girlfriend named one Spaz as it was spazzing out on it's first day in the tank (kept swimming everywhere) and the other Current as it loved to ride along the current. Peep the extended helmet that Spaz has! The LFS owner said that's pretty rare and was going to charge me an extra $500 for it (he was joking :p).

We also have five hermit crabs, a snail, and a peppermint shrimp as our clean up crew. Speaking of which..does anyone know what the strand are that's on the snail?

Looking to venture deeper into this hobby! I'll be stocking my tank with some corals probably this weekend or the next! What are some of your favorite corals?!

Thanks for reading my post and stay healthy out there!

Welcome to R2R and the saltwater hobby! My favorite corals are Euphyllia like hammers, frogspawn, and torches. I also love sea anemones! Best of luck to you in your tank!

I really like anything Euphyilla, Favias, zoas, acans, war corals, Brains. One of the pieces I just got is a Acan echinata. The other picture is all the stuff in quarantine we just got.
Color of the coral in the second picture wasn’t that good due to adjust on the radions schedule and stuff. Tank so far is looking good, have fun and good luck
