I have a 100g tank with a trigger 26 saphire sump. the skimmer section is 8.25″ x 10″. I am having a difficult time finding a hands down great skimmer that will fit in this section and take care of a heavy bioload.
I have found ICECAP K2-200 or RLSS DB6-I DC skimmer that i believe should fit and are around $300.
Would anyone reccomend or which one would be better suited for my tank. ANY OTHER suggestions?

Currently running a RO external 110 skimmer but just not a fan of it at all.

thanks,

No gimmicks (funny shapes, funny voltages, funny anything), just great skimmers. :)

im running the Nyos Quantum 160 on a 73G
incredibly quiet and pulls crazy amounts of skimmate
definitely a higher price point @ 499.00

  • Dimensions (LxWxH): 7.29" x 9.85" x 20.87" (18.5 x 25 x 53 cm)
  • Tank Size: 100-250 Gallons (250-1,000 litres)
  • Recommended Sump Water Level: 8"-10"
the Quantum 120 is rated for 125g and has slightly smaller dims and is @ 399.00

I run a Bubble Magus Curve 7 on my 90, small foot-print and a great skimmer at that price.

You might be able to fit a Lifereef SVS2-24 in that space. Call Jeff at Lifereef and see what he can do for you.

I just sent you a pm about rlss please read before buying... I just replaced my rlss R6i with a new 3rd gen eshopps and I'm getting exactly the same performance out of it and it actually has a little bit of a smaller footprint, is much quieter, and over all I actually like it better
