Hi Guys,

I got this piece of finger leathers that been seating on the bottom of my tank for about 2 months.
If right now, I place them onto high light area, is it possible to do so without bleaching them?
OR I still have to place them on the mid light for a period of time before moving them up?

Thanks

Maybe just keep a good eye on it, day-by-day, and be prepared to move it down at the first sign of any bleaching. Best wishes!

Thanks, the reason I'm doing this is also giving it a better flow, current flow is about low-mid in between.
The only available place i got for it, is the tower area, where it could get max light max flow.
My leathers do well higher light higher flow (for a LPS dominant)

Cool, may i know do you go thru low to high light transition for it? Or just straight away place it at high places?

They can do well in higher par, can grow much faster and be very healthy.

However don't overdo it if the lighting on top is too high, by too high I mean passed sps kind of high with led hotspots.

I have some high up and they seem to do better than the ones on the floor.

I just placed. Leathers in my limited experience has been quite hardy.

This guy is big enough to be 100 par at its bottom and 250 at the tips depending on which way the water is taking it. Still very happy and green and growing like a weed.
