Finish nail size

What size and length finish nail should I use to attach my 1/2 ply to my 2x4 frame?

I will be using a hammer and nail punch to complete this job.

1-1/4 or 1-1/2 should do the trick

And to make sure you get no rust bleed through, I'd go with hot dipped galvanized nail.......labeled as HD......and readily available at HD or Lowe's.
