I've just finished cycling my 70 g tank with raw shrimp, & I'm thinking to add some API quick start live nitrifying bacteria to help with the future health of the aquarium... is it going to help by any mean? or it's just waste of material?

This thread mentions cycling measures and the non impact of adding extra bacteria

Regarding adding it for future, it's harmless but unhelpful. Once established the bacteria don't need to be boosted, and they never go away unless you add meds that are antibiotic. If you didn't add the bac, the tank would continue just the same
