Hello, I think I've finished my aquascape. I was trying for a combination of NSA and Bonsai scaping. The arches on the right are for fish habitat, as they have some crevices and hidey holes. The structure on the left is more bonsai-like for corals. I think I like it how it is, but do you think I should add more branches to the bonsai structure for coral? I plan on eventually having a mixed reef with LPS, softies and SPS. Thanks for any input!

It's a great start, I would add a few more pieces, due to the coral will move wherever they want. So it's always nice to have options for them that looks pleasing the the eye.
I was thinking maybe I didn't have enough "branches" on the bonsai, but I'm afraid of making so many branches that it loses it's bonsai-ness. Do corals move??? I thought it was just nems that moved and corals pretty much stayed where you put them.

Corals don't move, but they will grow either larger and/or spread across the rock work. You could add more branches if you want to facilitate more coral frags, but make sure you allow space for upward and outward growth.

good start. you still have room for more rock (honestly, if you rearrange your tree, and move the right structure more towards the back right corner, you can have space at the front-right for an island of something?)

Really a very aesthetically pleasing aquascape and has given some me inspiration for a new tank I’m planning. Should give you what you’re looking for.

You can always add more rock later.

I think it looks great and love the spiral with platforms - lots of options, and corals over the year(s) will give you the additional branches - agree with the other comment that there may be a need for more hidey-holes depending on the fish stocking plan - and those you can fashion and add later if needed

again, nice balance and it will look even better as corals grace it

Thanks for the compliment! I was inspired by Water Life's aquascapes on Instagram. I'm happy my little scape can inspire someone else!

Nice and light and will provide a nice display of coral
