Welcome. After a quick search it looks like the remote has everything needed to setup the light in 3 hour increments. I'm not sure what corals you are planning to put in your aquarium, but I would test the PAR and ensure it is sufficient before purchasing them.

Thank you for the advice. I have a few corals that I’ve a had about 2 months now. Just started getting nuisance algae on the crushed live rock sand bed and I’ve been running the factory 24/7 mode my coral seem to be doing fine I just didn’t want to starve them for light by giving to less light. I’ve been told less light time would help with the algae.

Welcome to R2R and +1 on @vetteguy53081 recommendation except if you have to do 3 hour increments maybe go 9 or 12 blue and 6 white. Most will recommend shorter hours for whites to help reduce algae problems. Your corals predominately use the blues.

So my blues on high?
This is very hard to answer as it depends on your tank, your aquascape and the tanks inhabitants. It appears that the fixture you have is relatively low wattage (around 1 watt per inch) and seems to be rated for softie and LPS corals so I doubt you can set it too high but... too low is better than too high. Sorry I can't help more but every tank is unique. I do think that you can probably set the blues to high safely but only PAR measurements will really answer the question.

If doing fine, don’t change the mode

Reducing time whites are on or it’s intensity will help with that
Thank you so much. That’s how I’ve been trying to ask the question lol when I alter times on the light I have to intensify or reduce the color I want to change.

Welcome to R2R and the salty world Brad. I don’t know the lights but it sounds like you have been given some good advice. Lots of knowledgeable and helpful people here who will support and advise you when needed.

Welcome! Glad you joined. Going to defer to others on lighting as not my strong suit. IF you don't get the answers you seek here, there is another area of Forums for Lighting, and people who know lighting watch and answer (like us friendly folks who take our 'welcome' seriously <wink>, except for lighting)

Have you considered starting your build thread? I found its a great place to document my tank's evolution for myself. I started tank first then joined, so I'm still finding myself going back collecting pictures & updating historically as well as current state. Once you create your first post in your thread and link it to your account, they will give you build badge (look left, under my ID)

This is a good reference book type online article I still review:
