Hey mates,
Has anyone else has issues with their finnex heaters shocking the living hell out of them when on full blast? It seems to work properly and only build a charge in cold water... but man does it pack a punch. I had one blow out entirely on me before putting in a different circuit for the tank.

I would be switching to another brand of heaters.. make sure your tank is grounded and anything AC like heaters should be on a GFCI outlet

They are cheap heaters i bougjt a lot of 6 on eBay once and all of them gave me trouble. They didnt come on on set F and if you bumped up the temp they would only stay on for maybe 15 sec then go off. Never again.

GFCI outlet's the circuit it is on. It doesn't pop it. ;( after being blown backwards with one heater the company replaced for being faulty. I had cut corners the first go around. Now it blows my mind that it has a charge.
