Well, I try not to bore everyone with my barren tank. I mean this thread is 8 years old and just now getting things going. Who wants to hang around here? Ha! I am still around.

It is back up but it has never been this far along before. There was noting in it when the hurricane hit - thank goodness.

FTS - 4-21-‘23

I got a shipment of fish in from Diver’s Den this morning. The fish population is now up to 5!
Today I got a Hippo Tang, a Two Spot Bristletooth Tang and a Yellow Fin Flasher Wrasse.

Corals and clams are doing fine so far.

I got the UV installed as a closed loop, using the two holes drilled in the back meant for returns. I have the Sea Swirls, so I just had them plugged. Would kung pretty well. I still have to arrange the wires a bit better.

After it being on for about a day and a half at about 500 gph, the water is crystal clear. It is raising the temp about 1.5°, so time to hook up some fans and put my old chiller in line in case the temp gets crazy and I am not home. I already had the chiller from when I was running MH lights on the 140.

Anyway, there is always something to do on a reef tank.

Thanks. Some things are growing quickly and some not so much. There are softies, SPS & LPS in the tank.
