Tank is looking great and your water looks crystal clear. Tiny fish can be strong and brave. I introduces a 1” wrasse to a tank of bigger wrasse. That baby gets chased by all fish but yet has a smile all day. Can’t say that for the big guys as they will hide because someone looked at them. Don’t lose hope. Sending good vibes for your wife to have a seedy recovery.

Thanks. This has really been a hard tank to get going. Natural disasters, family health issues and me losing and gaining back interest and motivation and to some extent just getting older.

I am fine and my wife is improving. My mom in assisted living with dementia, not so well. But overall, not too bad.

Thanks. Not a great pic. I was just walking by and took the shot. Fish were spooked. I only have 7 at the moment. Maybe time to order some more, but it is so dang hot I hate to.

Doing ok. My wife is having another surgery on Tuesday to repair a hernia. Just 9 weeks post op from her last one.

Hey man. Thanks for checking in. The wife is ok. Had another surgery two weeks ago. We have lost count of how many now. Hopefully she gets some relief.

I am fine. I bought a “new to me toy” a couple weeks ago. I guess I can be a Vette guy now since I have two of them.

The tank is doing well. I have a few patches of cyano here and there, but I think it is more because the tank is low on nutrients. I haven’t lost anything except for a small Maxima clam. He flipped off a rock and I still have been unable to find where it went to. Even took out about half the rock. Who knows. A few pics.

A few months ago I added 8 Berghia Nudis to work on my growing Aiptasia problem. After they had done a pretty good job eliminating the pests, I find myself adding a few Aiptasia from my nano to keep the Berghia going. I hope to maintain a balance of both to keep the Aiptasia under control. Funny hobby we have.

Thanks for catching up! I am sorry it has been so drawn out, believe me. More of a diary of frustration. I do like to keep everything about the tank in one thread, but I know people just gave up on it. I almost gave up on the tank myself. I will continue to update the thread from time to time.

It worked out pretty well though. All of the frags were originally very small. It allowed me to some time for grow out and the 125 didn’t look as sparse when the tank was stocked.
