I rescued 11 fish today from a tank that was in terrible shape, the only way to see in it was from the top. Anyway... I got 11 fish that I put in a qt tank when I got home and there’s a yellow tang and a hippo that the fins are chewed up some. The yellow is worse then the hippo. My question is will these fins grow back at all? I’m 99% sure it’s from the undulated trigger that’s with them.

They will grow back, as long as they have a healthy diet. Feed a variety of foods, and seaweed sheets for tangs specifically.

I have plenty of seaweed for the tangs in my display and will give them some in qt. The old man that had them only used an auto feeder with flakes in it and that’s it. Tonight I fed them mysis soaked in selcon and they all went nuts for it.
