I have a good question since lace corals and fire corals are closely related they should have some cross over in care. Though from what I do understand is that lace coral is likely non photosynthetic but in the same family as fire coral. Perhaps Dr. dendrostein may have some experience with them?

I don't think anybody's ever kept lace coral alive. Even less long term success than dendronephthya which it seems is only viable for a certain amount of time in captivity as well.

I attempted lace corals several times in my NPS tank with poor results. They need microscopic food constantly presented to them and have to be kept in the shade. Fire coral is the exact opposite. Mine was a weed that encrusted all rocks nearby. Mine died during a three day blackout. I haven't seen it for sale in years.
