I picked up a Fire Fish yesterday who is doing great. It eats like nobodies business. This morning I thought I would see if it would eats some pellets, yup! Went nuts and in his feeding frenzy he dove face first into my Torch Coral. The next 30 seconds my fish bounced from wall to wall including hitting the lid HARD three times. Question is could the sting kill it? He's already avoiding the torch like the plague but just wondering if he did it a lot if it could kill it.

Thanks

I think he will be OK. It's kinda like when you were a kid and your mama told you the stove eye was hot? You touched it anyway.....ONCE.

The Torch can kill it, but he's gotta get stuck. If he was able to get away, which he was, then the stings are just a reminder not to go near the thing again.

Sorry to hear about your loss, I love fires but they are jumpers for sure. He was a beautiful fish though. Good luck !
