I have a blood red fire shrimp in my tank and since day one he just hangs out under a rock ledge and comes out when food is in the water.

However, I recently added a Dsjardini Sailfin Tang and after a few days he started presenting himself to the fire shrimps home. This went on for a few days and now I am seeing the fire shrimp clean the tang. Very cool but now I am currious as to what its picking off my fish. I read it is probably dead skin or scales? What else could it be? Anything to be worried about?

Dead and damaged scales or non-microscopic parasites, such as flukes.
