A few days, I usually see it's molt she'll, but not this time. Interestingly a peppermint shrimp took over it's home. How long has it been gone? Possible its hiding after molting?
I see, hmm, I have no idea where it went. It's usuat always under the same cave for as long as I've had it, about six monthsThey are good hiders, and they seem to prefer to come out in the evening. Maybe turn off flow and feed a bit in the evening and see if it comes out.
It's certainly possible that they could die, though I think getting by a BTA would be pretty unlikely unless it was already sick. I have actually seen a smaller one that got eaten by a maxi mini carpet anemone, but I don't think a BTA stings as hard or sticks as much, and it only was caught because it was being chased by another one.
Hmm my fish aren't that big, a tang, two clowns, three damsels, watchman gobyCould be fish. I watched my 5" melanarus wrasse bash a full grown one on the rocks into bite size pieces. There was no aggression shown until that day.
Ok cool, hopefully it just found a new homeI have 2 blood fire shrimp in a 75 with a skunk cleaner. I see the skunk everyday, the blood shrimp once in a blue moon. I honestly thought they were gone about a month ago when I didn't see them for a couple months, but sure as **** they were deep in a cave I have thats near impossible to see into. Sometimes I go weeks if not months without seeing them. Don't be too worried, however keep an eye out.
