Fire shrimp prices?!?

Getting back into the hobby after many years, and man how the prices have changed on pretty much everything. One of my favorite inverts in my last tank was a fire shrimp, so I really want to get another, but are they really $50-$80 now?! Anyone know of any places that have somewhat reasonable prices on these?

It's gotten ridiculous. Two years ago I got cleaner shrimp for $15. Now they are $45 from the same place.

Same in our area… $80 for a fire shrimp

It feels like every time I go to the LFS it cost $5 more than last time. It’s getting out of hand.

Yellow tangs use to be $20 and now it's $400. Yikes!

Totally agree, it's gotten ridiculous. I've had mine for over a year, I believe I paid $50 for him at my LFS. At the time, cleaner shrimp were like $30. Now cleaners are $50 and fire shrimp are like $80 like you mentioned. Insane. I love my fire shrimp but if I was looking to buy one now, I don't think I could justify shelling out that much. :/

Looks like reefcleaners has a few in stock at $45. But then you also pay shipping.
