A while back ago I took my wife to the LFS she liked the Fire shrimp so I bought it put it in it's doing fine but he is hiding 90% of the time. I have 3 other shrimp to skunk cleaner shrimp. OK she has this idea and I sort orf know but anyway she says he hides because he has no friend in the tank. I know this is what they do, here is my question.
Will 2 Fire shrimp get along or will one kill the other? My wife is going through chemo and I don't want her upset doing what ever I can to make her happy.

I have had two fire shrimp co-exist in my 90g. I didn't have any other shrimp at the time so I don't know how that could play out. I don't think I had a pair because there were never any eggs, but the two lived together for a number of years.

My cleaner shrimp killed my fire shrimp. I don’t know if this is common so do some research. I hope your wife is ok. I’ll keep her in my prayers.

I have 2 in my Red Sea Nano (20g) nem-tank. They actually share the same “hole” in a rock quite a bit. They aren’t very active except when food is dropped in, so I doubt another will make them dance around your tank though

Oh so far so good with the 4 of them in there the Fire shrimp at night time moves over to where the cleaners are,

Yeah I know this and this one that I have cleans more than my cleaner shrimp my gobbie loves him and I see my tang back there some times, I know they will hide that's why I didn't ever buy one but I did for the wife, and the wife has know idea about fish at all except for cooking and eating them.

Only hiding 90% of the time is pretty good. Sometimes I forget I even have one in my tank. I've had it years and maybe when all the pumps are off and I do heavy target feeding it will come out.

Yeah I know lol but my wife it Thai and has no none at all knowledge of aquariums, since she has been home she had taken some interest a little, she still thinks it's fish jail. But my friend the owner of the LFS helped me with this got her thinking about all the predator's in the ocean told her it was a safe space for those fish. LOL
