I read online they eat acans and can eat other things, is it worth getting one? Lfs has a fire shrimp for 17$ which I can’t believe. Just don’t want to put my corals at risk

There's always that possibility. I have a "Cleaner Shimp" that's never tried to eat corals. I just try to keep him very well fed.

I’ve had cleaners but during the tank move they unfortunately passed. That’s why I was leaning towards fire shrimp but I don’t want my acan gardens or zoas, blah blah to be killed from a new shrimp

My first shrimp hasn't bothered any corals. He just chills in his hangout and chases away the cleaner shrimp if they get to close.
