Fire shrimp skeleton

Jayzis got fright of my life there... thought my one and only fore shrimp multipled like a gremlin. Turns out it's his old shell after molting ....

Question- should I remove the old skeleton or leave in ?? It's currently sitting on the sand in the tank

Some do, some don't. I used to but rarely bother now.
If it's blowing in the current and easy to grab I probably would but otherwise it disappears quickly enough.

I leave it, its basically just calcium, it will dissolve back into the water within a day
