I have a few of these in my tank. They look different from the normal bristle worms (which I also have in the tank). Is it a different bristle worm? Fire worm? They've shown no interest in my corals or anything so they're fine, just curious.

Answering my own question after a minute of research. I believe it's Hermodice carunculata (bearded fire worm). Seems they are rather carnivorous, guess I need to start removing them when I see them.

That's definitely a fireworm. They will eat your corals so good call on removing any that you see, but be careful their sting is painful.

Thanks for confirmation! I haven't seen them touch any corals but I've plucked two out just to be safe.
