Firefish Fin Rot or Harassment?

I’ve seen a few threads around the Internet about this, but I’d like to make sure, this is the first time I’ve seen something like this in saltwater.

for a little context, he had disappeared briefly for a couple hours last night, so I’m not sure if maybe he was stuck in a rock and got damaged or if he was hiding from an aggressor?
He appears to have been eating fine a few minutes ago when I gave him mysis.

I see that all the time at my LFS, and I’d bet it’s harassment. Fire fish get picked on by pretty much everything

This looks like a result of aggression and very similar to a fire fish years ago harassed by a blue devil damsel

Alright, so what’s the best play here? I am moving in 5-7 days and will be doing a TTM on this tank to get rid of ich. I can’t setup any other tanks until then.

Place any aggressor in acclimation box or sump temporarily. How do you know who the aggressor is?
Using a cell phone, place it in video mode 30-45 mins and walk away (fish know when you are there)
Come back and review video and you should see who the culprit is

I’m fairly certain it’s the newer yellow eye kole tang. The rest have been fine for months together.

Only thing is that the tang currently has ich spots and I do not want to stress him out.

I know I know. I’m gonna do TTM in about a week to get rid of the ich.

Everyone needs to just chill out for 7 days until I can get a better grip on this tank's situation.

I can buy a breeder box for the tang later, but will that make his ich worsen? It appears to already be better than it was last night (today is day 2, will be night #3 with the spots).
