firefish hanging out by the airstone

I have a firefish that is not looking well. He is starting his third week of cupramine and I am at .5.'

He is hang out by the airstone, which tells me he is having trouble breathing. Any thoughts before I get him killed? My guess is that I have about 4 hours and he is done.

Can you see other signs of stress? Discoloration, labored breathing? What readings do you get for Ammonia?

ammonia and nitrites are 0. His gills seem red to me but not exactly sure. Labored swimming. Treated him twice already with general cure during curpramine but he came out of that last week fine. So I cant beleive it would be ich or velvet in the third week of copper. And flukes would seem to be dealt with when I dosed GC. Maybe he is just stressed from the copper? Or something else? I am lost.

Could be stress in general, firefish don't typically do well in a high stress environment. Is he in the tank by himself?

He was doing fine until today. He is in QT with a hippo, basslet and diamond goby. Hopefully he is just stressed out. If he makes it, maybe i will dose prazi after copper is over in case of gill flukes not killed by GC. Thanks.
