Firefish one or two ?

Last week I introduced a fire fish to my tank, and have literally only seen his eyes from under my rock. I really wished I’d ordered a pair, so am I asking for trouble ordering another one now ? I’m assuming my week old one will eventually get used to surroundings and appear eventually

Firefish are really skittish fish. In my experience, they hide away all the time and only come out to feed.

keep an eye also and see if you have any fish that might be bullying it as well. My Clownfish killed all mine after several attempts of adding to my tank.

It's a docile fish however, they will kill each other so it's one per tank.
