on its tail fin, on the bottom, theres a small piece of fin thats see through. Is that a sign of anything?

cant get any now, will get some when I get home around 3. Imagine the bottom part of a firefish tail fin, and a part of that is see through

I’d you are talking about the dark stripe on the anal fin running into the causal fin (also on top) that’s normal.
Otherwise I’d expect what you describe to be a bite or tear that’s healing over.

Eating poop is normal for fish…they are weird.
Keep an eye on the firefish, white stringy poop doesn’t always mean parasites but that is a possibility especially without qt and preemptively medicating for it. Have a dewormer like levamisole hcl (fritz expel-p) ready in case. Is the firefish eating?
Keep an eye on it and the clown - if aggression gets worse you may have to rehome.
The fin could likely be due to stress or an attack healing.

The firefish does eat, not that much, but that was always the case.

I guess I'll just observe. If it worsens, I'll return the fish. I guess I'll need to have a clownfish pair
