This was the best shot I could take, the object comes out of a red area behind its pectoral fins and gill, it has 2 sides that are squiggly and separate, almost like wings that are only connected at the base. The fish is still swimming and eating normal.
Thanks again!

The photo is not that clear so Im not 100% sure, but can you compare it to this?
piscicolidae-worm-alexis-terlep-jpg.464508

Is it similar?
If so then it is Piscicolidae Worm and formalin bath should be enough to get rid of them, although adding metroplex and kanaplex is recommended in case of bacterial infection.

I don't think that's the same type of worm as in the picture there, but I do believe that prazipro will work on it. A formalin dip would work as well, but I'd do prazi before formalin any day.

It could definitely be something similar, but the shape and color are not the same. It's at a LFS I part time at, I'll see what I can do! Thanks ya'll
