Firefish???

Put ff and chalk bass in the DT yesterday...10 gal fusion all sealed up...cb is out, I fed brine...no firefish!...I guess I have to be patient, he was out in QT, only other fish are ywm...nothing bothering him...Jeeeeze!

I've had a couple of firefish that it took weeks or longer for it to start coming out.

My fire fish is like an alarm clock. He won't leave his burrow until the lights are at 10% or better.

How big a tank?...this is only a 10 with quite a bit of rock...

They tend to hide quite often look under rocks he will eventually come out

Although did have one commit fishacide

No way for him to get out of the tank...so I'll wait and wait and wait...

I've had them in a 175, 75 and 50. Currently I've got one in a 36g and it seems his mood changes from day to day. Some days he's out all day and others I never see him till it's feeding time.

He's baaaack!!...at pm feeding time, with the main pump off, he showed himself 2X...This is a good sign...I imagine that we'll be seeing more of him when he realizes that there is nothing in his tank that is the least bit aggressive...I think he's a bit freaked by the cleaner shrimp...what a whimp...

He seems to freak out at the sight of the cleaner shrimp...he's sharing the hole with 2 ywgs...I'm sure that this will take time...he comes out at feeding time for a few seconds, grabs a mouthful and whizz...
