Firefish

I finally got a firefish! It took me very long to find one as almost all the fish shops I went to did not have firefish as they were sold out. Finally, I went to a fish shop that had three firefish left and I bought one of them. I've done a lot of research on this fish. Anything else I should know about the firefish?

Theyre big jumpers and can be bullied easily by other fish, other than that they are pretty easy to care for! Just make sure that lid is TIGHT

Yes they are. When I get them, to save time, I gently open the bag, and throw them on the floor..

Update. The firefish eats a lot and is doing very well. Unfortunately I can't get a picture of him as every time I go near the tank he goes back in the live rock to hide.

Theyre happier with a friend, they eat pretty much anything you put in the tank. Theyre so funny to watch dart in the holes in the rocks lol love my firefish

Very nice! My blue Fiji devil damselfish and my firefish used to go at it! Sometimes he’d back down, but other times he’d raise his fin and they’d have a good old Mexican standoff.

Damsel was definitely banned to the sump lol

Haha. I heard blue Fiji devil damselfish are aggressive.

Lol they’re jerks. But I love mine. He’s just doing his think in the sump, and is my helper when I do work on the sump

They're a really fun fish. It's cool to get a trio of them and see how they interact. I remember mine would sort of like stand around upright in the corner. As others have mentioned, they're jumpers
