Firehouse Buckets

Was getting lunch today and saw Firehouse Subs sells their pickle buckets for $2 with lid. I was just wondering if anyone had used them before for aquarium stuff.

I don't see why not. Perhaps a good soak in water & arm and Hammer baking soda to get the smell out ?

It's food grade. So why not?
I use 1gal sherbert ice cream buckets all the time after soaking them in vinegar
