Had this one for 6 months, polyp extension and color is great, has a green blue skeleton. I want it to start growing quicker. Any ideas on best parameters and any sups to help it along?

Yea forest fire. Sorry iPhone autocorrect. What I am looking for is growth. It has doubled in size in the last 4 months, but It has slowed down over the last 1-2

that is a fast grower digi for me, I kept Alk between 7-8, Ca at 425 and Mg at 1300, pH 8.2-8.4 and temp at 80 (summer time). it spread both vertically and also encrusting on the live rock. So far this is one of my hardier sps. I have several sps that rtn this summer (not sure why) but this one going strong

Forest fire is very forgiving and will thrive in a well maintained tank. If growth is stunted, check your nutrients. Usually digi monti will show less PE if parameters are shifting.

Well, phosphates are at zero, alk I usually keep around 9-10, nitrates were also zero and I have started to dose nitrates ( spectrcide stump remover ) to get it ups mag is 1350 calcium 460.

I would say your alk is slightly higher than usual, and zero nutrients are not helping either. Unless you have algae issue (sucking up nutrients hence the zero results), a slight increase of N & P will help on growth. You might need to bring down the alk to 7 or 8.

I have been slowly lowering the alk down to about 8. I don't want to go any lower than that. I had an algae issue on my overflows for a few months that has since a few weeks ago disappeared after using Red Sea po4 no3 treatment.
