Fireworks stress fish?

Here’s a weird question, can fireworks stress out your fish? I had a healthy timor wrasse mysterious die last night. I had him for over a year, he’s always eaten well and was swimming around fine last night before all the fireworks started. Another weird thing is a friend just asked me if fireworks would stress out his fish. He has a freshwater tank with a beta and neon tetras. All have been in tank for 6 months together. They were all fine last night and this morning when his lights turned on 4 tetras were dead. Just a weird coincidence so it made me wonder if anyone else has experience this

Are you running an outside air line to your skimmer? Fireworks put off a lot of things I wouldn’t want in my tank.

No I purposely disconnected airline because of that and I know my friend with freshwater doesn’t.
