hello! just reached year one of reefing and today before water changes found this little dude floating around in my fluval 13.5. if its a fireworm what can I do or should I do? thank you!

The fireworm that is a pest in the hobby is the bearded fireworm (Hermodice carunculata) and the easiest way to spot it is because it has a noticeable caruncle (red feathery thing) on its head. In the videos you attached I can’t tell and it looks more like a small segment of a worm more than the whole worm.

its so hard to get pics of it bc its pretty small, I'll keep a lookout for them, luckily I only have a blasto and 2 clownfish at the moment with rock that would be easy to remove. thank you for trying to help! If it gets worse or worrisome I'll be back :')

When in doubt, we'll you know what to do but bristleworms are good detritus cleaners for the tank.
