Well, I've been slow to jump on the Acan bandwagon, but this piece had been at the LFS for awhile, and my wife gave me a gift certificate for my b-day, so.... what do ya think of it? Just put it in my tank about an hour ago.

yeah they go nutz when I target feed mine... :D

quick tip if you ever frag acans.... use an inland bandsaw, it's precise enough to cut around the individual heads, so you don't damage any... ;)

very nice piece. nice to see one that has more than just a few heads. ive also been slow on the acan bandwagon, i dont have any. i did purchase one but it had been under some stress prior to the purchase and had recovered. but i guess the move was enough to restart the recession. so sad :(
well good luck with your new piece, its very nice! :)

Way to go Steve, which tank is it in? I can't tell, is it on the sandbed?

BTW, happy birthday :haha: How old does this one make you?????

It's in the 135g on a rock ledge near the bottom. Looks good there. As far as the age thing.... :crossedlips:

How's it looking now a month or so later? What and how often do you feed it? M@ry Ruth bought one at the MGM swap for her tank. That's the only one we have. Looks like all the hype and ridiculous pricing is settling down a little now. I think I'd like to get into more Acans and chalices.
