Awesome looking tank! I have reef Roids already handy so hopefully I see some good growth soon !I have a sps only tank, and two mixed reefs with a couple acros. The #1 thing I can tell you to increase growth (assuming it has good placement already) would be to feed it!! I was mixing up reefroids for my LPS and had some left over so I fed the acros and decided to make a habit of it. It’s been 2 months now and my growth rate has doubled! Here are some pics of one of my mixed reefs, the growth is most apparent on the top right rock (purple bonsai and a birdsnest) images are oldest to most recent, first one was taken April 30, most recent was on June 7
4 months !? Jeez nice jobGreat! And thanks for the compliments! It’s my first tank and I got it for my 16th birthday back in February. Amazing how the time has just flown by. Reefroids changed my reefing life, no more impulse buys! I don’t have the space now that my acros are growing so well
Thanks. Had at least 1 freshwater tank since I was five but my dad finally let me get into reefing. It’s always been a dream of mine since I’m an avid diver. Going on my 500th dive next week! Also marks a little over 150 lion fish hunting expeditions. He used to work in a lfs that specialized in salt water so he’s been helping me a lot with the water chemistry and coral/fish aggression
