So this is my first anemone that I've purchased, it has been in my tank for two days and does some weird stuff every now and then. It has attached itself firmly to the rock where I put him in and he's holding on tight which seems good, but it looks like his mouth is constantly open and he is inverting a bit. Is it normal for them to do this at first or should this be a purchase I take back to the shop?

Mine do that when they are hungry
I had the same exact problem with my first and second nem they are both bubble tips and I was worried so much but they did that for the first two weeks and once they got adjusted to the tank and light increase they are both fine now and really healthy looking. But also I wouldn't feed it just yet since it's new, I fed my first one the second day and it just stressed him out even more so I would hold off on feeding. Honestly they don't even really need to be fed directly because mine gets food from the water column when I feed my tank.

Very common for a new nem to have an open mouth at first when new to tank, acclimating(and it would be nice to know how long that tank has been running too)
It's hard to see or tell anything looking at pic, these heavy actinic lighting pics remind me of posters we had in the 70's and don't do much for ID'ing potential issues.

I find rock nems to be pretty hardy. Give it a bit of food, give it a bit more time.
