So I bought a tank specifically for all the coral it came with I've left it running while I transfer everything over. I've been avoiding the anenome that came with it as I'm not sure how to place it in my main display. It has attached itself firmly to a particular rock and has 2 clowns hosting it a smaller ocellaris and a larger snowflake. Couple questions as the 150 I'm putting it in is sps from a lps dominate tank how will it handle the higher flow and lower nutrients

? Its a bubble tip but not sure what type. Also it hasn't bubbled since I got it home although I feel like its Def growing with decent extension. It mostly closes up at night is this normal?

They do like their nutrients!
Mine will close up right at lights out but then opens for the rest of the night.

Maybe keep that tank going as a nem only tank :-)

What causes them to bubble? When I bought the tank it was bubbled up nice and it's been home a month now and eats fine looks to be healthy as far as I can tell but doesn't bubble.

No all the exact equip came over it has a pair of ai primes over the tank

So will it bubble up again when it gets used to the new environment or would you try to adjust lighting/flow?

Also you can see an arm of a serpent star under it that has made it new home directly below it. Could this be irritating it?

melvs reef has an interesting video about anemone care he has some awesome ones completely healthy sometimes they just don't have the bubbles and no one really knows why
