Went for a more minimalistic aquascape with some room for fish to hide out and to shade LPS/Softies as well as about half the tank for SPS to grow up! Pretty pumped to share as I don't have a big reefing community around to share and get feedback from!

I'd try do something with the 2 openings they're very square and uniform and as a result unnatural looking.

That's a great point and I haven't noticed it until you brought it up! I wonder if I could use some small pieces to change up the shape and make it feel less square. I'm also fighting the shelf rock which is very flat and has very square edges. I really appreciate the feedback! I'm a Professional Artist and critical feedback is so important for improvement!

Don't overthink the shape of the rocks. Your corals will round out the corners. Look at the before/after pix in the aquascape forum for reference.
I think it's a good design, but it feels like it all needs to move left a few inches - like it's crowded against the right side.

Completely agree certainly not trying to overthink too much the scape was definitely created with the thought of how corals will grow in and change the shape of the scape. It's just fun talking about the aesthetic of the scape itself :D

Thanks for the tip on the location I'll certainly think of moving it to the left as I look at it over the next few days of staring at it in the Studio! (Tanks in my art Studio)

Helps to utilize the mortar with this rock. I'd be concerned about the caves collapsing. I recommend using mortar to make several small structures and put them on the tank, once you get some bigger pieces might be able to build around that.

The location may just be a camera angle thing, too. It seemed like moving it left would avoid a Stairway to Heaven though (which I've seen in person by the way - below:cool: ).

I had a similar scape initially, I found it wasn’t great for coral placement I had one level and sheer “cliffs” which wasn’t conducive to placement of various types of coral. Have a look at my before and after I my post in this forum or my build.
