Take a peek. Tried to use some of the ideas ardeus speaks of. Bought the shelf rock so really trying to use them without looking cheesy.
Wanted swim throughs for fish. Only issue I see is rocks are below center line of tank (12 inches). I could make right stack higher if necessary. All comments welcome

she wants a bonsai so she gets one

I would not go with that unless most of your corals will be plating out on top like acros and motes and such. It seems a bit to steep and will be difficult to place corals on the sides.

Thanks for the tips. Yeah, this will be for Acros and plates. Will use other side of reef for my lps’ sand similar.

I can lower it a few if it looks too high/steep.

Haven’t settled on anything yet so work in progress

You can use that, just use a hammer drill to drill lots of plug holes then there will be plenty of spots for coral :)
Thanks! I didn’t want anything too hokey and I need space for a live rock island in the tank too. Also don’t want crowding.

this,
who cares what she wants. :p
Haha

I think what we created actually came out ok. Basically will be for “sticks” and encrusting while the other structures can House what I already have. The yellow “mound will be my live rock and will have a few hiding spots for fish and swim throughs.

I have a nem on a rock I have to just move in to this tank so he will fit in there or the middle

When I set up my new tank I also had issues with nems being already attached to rock. I took a hammer and flat head screwdriver and started trying to crack a chunk off the rock around the nems foot. far enough away to keep the nem attached etc but so I could add some small rocks to the scape instead of the boulders they had attached to.. I was adding 8 RFA and 2 bta moving all the rocks into the tank just wasn't an option. When I started tapping around the first one it closed up, I was trying to be super gentle and go slow not to accidentally damage the foot. After a dozen or so taps around the nem carving out a small circle around it the nem jus fell out of the rock . I scooped it up and placed it in the new dt (it seemed unharmed).. I moved on to the next one and the same thing happened. Evidently these animals have issues with the vibrations I created and just let go of the rock they were on. I did end up cracking some pieces off the rock as I went but I managed to safely move all the nems with no rock and no damage to the foot. Anyy you mention having an attached nem and I just wanted to share my findings. Here's a few of them about a year later :)

Really helpful man. Yeah I have a rbta and 2 rock flowers. The one rf is on the biggest rock in my tank lol. I’ll try to vibrate them off. The rbta is actually coming out of a cool cave looking rock so I may just add him as is. It’s smaller

When setting up I looked into lots of ways of moving. The bta seem to be kind of easy to get to move (people use ph, ice, kind of massage them off etc) the RFA are a pain bc if you try those "normal" options they dig in deeper . It was nice that I accidentally made this discovery, hope it works for you.
