Never owned a tank with a sump nor have I ever messed with plumbing. Don't be to hard on me lol I know the ball valves will need to be upgraded as of now the vectra will just be running the return .

I just wanted to.be able to add a reactor later on. More then likely I will redo it down the road but for now it's better then just flex tubing .

Welcome to R2R! Don't be afraid to experiment with the plumbing. Lots of great example on this forum for ideas. Bulk Reef Supply sells top quality valves. Use "unions" everywhere you can. Trust me on this. Cheers!

Ya the unions is something I will definitely do when I do it again . What,do you think for a first timer? I'm only going to run one reactor for now. I had to run into the flex tubing as the red sea tank doesn't make it easy to run all the way up .

Nothing wrong with "flex" tubing. I use a piece of super soft silicone tubing from my return pump to help reduce vibration. Works great!

Looks good! My only suggestion might be to support the right side (hangar from the ceiling) so it's neutral or compressing the flex tube into the barbs rather than pulling. Probably be resolved once you get a reactor in there, but just a thought.

And have patience :)

Ya I bought support straps for pvc. I plan on screwing in a couple to support it. Next time I want to run along the back wall and do some 90s or angles. Time is coming Friday is d day to move everything to new tank
