Hey all! I have 2 tanks running at the moment, so I missed my opportunity to have a R2R build thread. Not for much longer though!!
I'm getting everything together for my "big tank", a 29 gallon! I know, I know, not a big tank. But when you have a Fluval Flex 15 gallon and a standard 10 gallon, a 29 feels like a big upgrade!
Not sure what I'll be stocking it with, not even sure if I'll go bare bottom or sand at this point. Though I am leaning towards sand as a pistol shrimp/goby pair would be fun.
I have plenty of time to figure that out though, as I just started the "natural" cure process for all the rock I just picked up from a local reefer. $50 for 40lbs!!
Give them a few weeks and then I'll have a nice shiny build thread (along with a shiny new R2R badge
) but until then, here's some pictures of rocks! Hooray!!
Tough to judge scale from the picture, but the rocks on the top left and bottom right are massive
