Just finished temp acclimating, and Coral RX dip of first coral. Just wanted some feedback on the look of it or if it's DOA. It's a Neon Green Clove Polyp. Ordered from Savvy Seahorse, and they've been amazing with the order so far and from what I can tell the CUC also in the order look great. Appreciate your time!

if you just put it in the tank give it like 2-3 days to acclimate, if it was DOA it would look and smell like DOA
Might just need to be acclimated to your tank. If you don't see any polyps opening in the next hour or two, i'd say reach out to the vendor.

Do you all normally leave lights off for the first full day after adding new coral to the tank? Thank you for the replies!

No I usually just keep my standard lighting schedule going they will acclimate to it in a day or so

No and I would not suggest that. I think the "norm" is to place it low in the tank for a few days to acclimate to the water and lighting, and then move it to where you want it.

Whenever I get coral, it’ll look stressed for a couple of days. It just needs time to acclimate to your tanks lighting and water. Give it a few days and it will open up!
