First Coral Placement Advice - GSP & Mushroom

We are getting our first coral today. a GSP colony and a Hairy Mushroom.
I know there is a lot of personal preference involved but where would you recommend i place both of these?
Is placing it on the back the best thing? If we want to add more coral do i want to leave the rock free for those?
Appreciate any advice. Our tank is 326 litre / 86 gallon.

GSP can become an infestation. It spreads over quickly. It can cover everything, and climbs walls That can look good on a back wall. Consider an island like a Jedi hermit.
mushroom will stay put, mostly. It will have babies that will move next to the parent. Not a fast grower. Mid to lower area of tank.

I rock in the center or off to the right would be OK, back wall is an obvious choice, but you lack faith in our new reefer

GSP on the back wall is the best location. They grow upwards
