Fist of all is this even a Candy Cane Caulastrea ? I ordered this and 2 others from live aquaria. My First purchases.

http://www.liveaquaria.com/product/prod_display.cfm?c=597+2856+454&pcatid=454

So my next question is It looks nothing like the picture, the rest of the Corals I bought opened up, THis one is either growing or shrinking the hard white tips seem to be getting bigger not sure if this is good or bad?

What do you guys think, I have them in QT with 2 shrimps and a emerald Crab. Feeding them reef chili and Frozen Mysis Shrimp. Can I target feed this coral (seen a video on youtube) but my coral is pretty much hard compared to the other pictures and videos I have seen. Ive had them in QT for a week now

Looks like the tissue has receded . It might come back but if your still in the guarantee period I'd call up and ask about a refund

Ok its looked like that when I received it.

On another note the ZOAs in the pic came with some Clams/muscles I ripped a few off that I could I did dip afterwords w/coralRX before putting in my QT Should I pull of the rest before i move them to my DT will these take over a tank?

Was there anything inside of the shells? Anytime I've recived them they were dead so nothing to worry about really. I have 1 muscle from my live rock that made it but al it's done is grown
