Just checking on popular practice. When you get your cycle done and your ready for your CUC, does it also need an 8 week QT period before going in your tank? Also how long do your first corals need to be QT before going in or can the be dipped and rinsed then placed?

Ty in advance

60 days may be overkill; 30 days should be considered minimum. 40 might be better, but I suspect 60's more than you need unless a specimen does crop up with a problem.

Some people QT inverts...in the case of snails or shrimp, I don't. Sea stars, sea cucumbers or the like, I probably would. Just my 2 cents, though; I'm still new :)
