Hello everyone!
I placed a large coral order recently it shipped out on Tuesday with fedex overnight however due to several complications I was only able to pick up my package at 4:15 pm today. out of the 8 corals I ordered there was only one that was in tough shape and thats my first ever hammer coral. The bag was murky and pieces of tentacles and tissue where throughout the bag. I dealt with all the other corals first and when I got to the hammer I removed it from bag without adding its water to the coral dip (Coral rx) water and gently basted on the opposite side of the container for 10 minutes before adding it to the tank. I know its in rough shape but I want to give this guy the best shot it can have at making a recovery so if anyone has any tips on how to help it along it would be much appreciated. Hoping it's not a goner, by far the coral I was looking forward to getting the most. Thanks in advance!
