I really am not big on these kind of things... I'm not one for attention. Guess that goes back to my younger days avoiding the boys in blue... so ultimatelyI'd like to get upto a 300 gallon tank. Currently I have a 40, 20 & 150 DT. I have no automation anything except heat and lights. I've recently stopped using a skimmer on the 150 and have substituted by changing 25% of the water every Sunday. I house a mixed tank with few favorites... just filling space until I figure out what the end goal is. I have a handful of fish... including 3 tangs, 2 clown, Cardinals.

Well, I would tell you that is a beautiful tank, but I don't want to bring any unwanted attention to you! Oh shoot, it's too late!

You, can see inside the canopy. I have 4 SOL Blues... waiting for Aqua illumination to get off their hands and start releasing the upgrades again. Been waiting for months. With these, my reds have turned to purplish my oranges have faded my blues look grayed out, just not the love for sps. All of my softies and LPS are doing better under this light than any other light I've owned. Seriously considering going back to MH.

I also recently got this guy

I have a nice calcium reactor that I've never used... still waiting on me.

I don't really plan anything, I just build it as I go. I have a weird ability to know spacial refrences without measuring and only need levels when checking if my perception was correct when standing on a slanted floor.

So that will be my frag tank setup. The skimmer that is there is not in use as of now... but it is an old school ETSS 750 Evolution. I bought it for $22...

It is a good start to a thread. Keep on posting

As wall anchors, I used pieces from my other hobby (bmx) and cut a couple of Sunlite hubs in half to allow me to torque my bolts to 8o ft. Pounds.

I figure if I'm gonna write up a build I would like to be thorough as possible.

This is what I started with 2 years ago... after a 10 year hiatus.
