Ok so i filled my tank to check my plumbing job. All is well so far no leaks. Now i already checked the actual tank for leaks earlier, filling it up all the way no leaks. This time i just filled sump and the overflows.

Little background: I have a 120 gallon dual overflow tank with a Trigger systems ruby sump. My return pump is the Sicce Silent 5.0. (And silent it is).

So to my question. The drains seem to be coming out with some force, is that normal? Everything is cycling thru ok but just seems like the drains are very forceful. Also when i look in the overflows the water seems to go down like a 1/4 inch then come back up, repeating that over and over again.

Is it just that forceful because i do not have water in the actual tank and only in the overflows and sump? If thats not the reason is there anything i can do to remedy the problem with the water going up and down in the overflows.

Besides seems to be running ok.

My durso standpipes are silent and return pump are silent but the sound of the force of the water of the drains **IS NOT!**

Sounds like you might be overpowering the drain pipes and need to add a gate valve to dial the return pump down a tad or you just need to put ball valves on the pipes to "dial" in the drains....also, when the pipes get their slime coat it'll help a little but not all that much.

How is the water level in the display (close to the top rim or low)?

I have the Sicce Syncra 5.0 so i can just dial the pump back plus i also have a gate valve on the return lines. I actually turned the pump down and it helped considerably in the force of the water draining into the sump. The tank is not filled. I just filled the overflows and the sump to run pump and check plumbing for leaks.
